What They Sell
Chassis Kits
goBILDA sells several chassis kits which teams can use as a basis for their robot. The kits are predesigned chassis that teams assemble using instructions. They sell two chassis intended for FTC: the Strafer and the BeeLine. The Strafer uses mecanum wheels which allows it to strafe and the Beeline uses stealth wheels in a six-wheel configuration granting it greater traction. These kits are great starters for teams new to the program.
Motors
goBILDA sells an assortment of motors and servos along with structural parts. Their motors are commonly preferred by FTC teams. They sell two types of motors Yellow Jacket Motors and 5000 Series Motors.
Yellow Jacket Motor
There are three types of Yellow Jacket Motors: 5202, 5203, and 5204. All of the Yellow Jacket Motors have interchangeable gearboxes that range from 6000 rpm and low torque to 30 rpm and high torque. Below is a table that highlights the differences between motors.
| Motor | Axle Type | Length |
|---|---|---|
| 5202 | 5mm Hex | 36mm |
| 5203 | 8mm Rex | 80mm |
5000 Series
goBILDA also sells 5000 Series Motors which are made by Modern Robotics. They are the basis of the Yellow Jacket Motors and can use interchangeable gearboxes as well. They are similar to the Yellow Jackets but are used less commonly.
Servos
Another product they sell is Dual Mode Servos. There are two types of Dual Mode Servos: speed and torque. The speed version is twice as fast as the torque one. Both types of servos have a 300-degree rotation and have programmable limits. To program it, teams need to use a 3102 Series Dual Mode Servo Programmer.
Structure
goBILDA sells a large assortment of structural parts, but their most common part is their U-Channel. It is a 48mm channel that is able to fit a motor inside of it. They also have parts that can be used to connect the channels together. They sell several different connectors and adaptors which allow teams to connect goBILDA channels with other vendors' channels
Wheels
goBILDA also sells several different wheels meant for different purposes. They have mecanum wheels, which allow robots to strafe, as well as Omni wheels which fulfill the same purpose but are put together in a different configuration. They sell several different types of traction wheels, such as the Gecko™ or Rhino wheels.
